Applock Fingerprint Lock is developed by Quality App Zone. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our mobile application. By installing and using the app, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or email. However, to ensure the app functions properly, certain permissions and data access are required.

Automatically Collected Information:

• Device details (model, OS version, unique device identifiers)
• App performance and crash data (used to improve stability and functionality)
• App usage data (features you use, frequency of use, etc.)

Permissions Used and Purpose

• INTERNET: Allows the app to access online features such as updates, ads, or analytics.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Enables the app to send lock/unlock or intruder alert notifications. These can be turned off in your device settings.
• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Used to display the app lock screen or overlays when a protected app is launched.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Ensures the app reactivates protection automatically after a device restart.
• WAKE_LOCK: Prevents the device from sleeping during lock/unlock operations for a smooth experience.
• PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS: Detects which apps are opened so Applock can apply locking or unlocking actions. This information remains on your device and is not shared.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below): Allows customization features like setting backgrounds, themes, or saving photos locally. No data leaves your device.
• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO (Android 13 and above): Grants access to media files for theme selection and background customization within the app.
• CAMERA: Used to capture intruder selfies or for optional profile setup. These photos remain stored locally.
• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: Enables displaying a list of installed apps to apply lock protection. This list is not stored or transmitted anywhere.
• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS: Allows the app to run efficiently in the background to maintain continuous protection.
• USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT: Enables unlocking the app or secured applications using your fingerprint or other biometric methods. Biometric data is managed securely by your device OS and never accessed by the app.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Keeps the app running securely in the background while maintaining active protection.

Note: All permissions are used only for app functionality. We do not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data obtained through these permissions.

Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell or trade your personal data. However, limited, non-identifiable information (like device type or usage patterns) may be shared with trusted third parties for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes (e.g., AdMob, Firebase).

Data Retention

We do not retain any personal data on our servers. All photos, app usage data, and lock configurations remain stored locally on your device and are deleted if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
